About Splash Step.

          Splash Steps LLC is owned and operated by Jake and Melissa Ellis of Merritt Island Florida where it's hard to grow up and not develop a love for the water.  This holds true for Jake and Melissa where any day on the water is a good day. 

          Jake is the man behind the designs of the Splash Steps platform lifts.  He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida specializing in mechanical design.  Prior to college he spent many years turning wrenches on cars, motorcycles, and boats providing the experience of not only knowing how things work but why they break.  This experience is utilized in the design process to ensure you the highest quality product your money can buy.  In addition to Splash Steps Jake has been employed in the marine industry designing transom lifts for some of the worlds premier yacht builders and currently works in the aerospace industry assisting to launch the next generation of rockets.         

          Adding to the family dynamic of Splash Steps, most all the vendors that are used in the creation of these fabulous products can be found right here on Florida's Space Coast.
